Unveiling a New Horizon of Safety Training

Elevate Awareness, Elevate Your Safety

Everyone deserves to live their life safe and free of danger. We can accomplish this through providing Situational Awareness For Everyone. S.A.F.E. will teach you how to be proactive, instead of reactive, when it comes to your own personal safety and the safety of those around you. It will arm you with the skills to detect and respond to threats before they become an act of violence, and avoid or escape potentially dangerous situations.

Bridging Roles with Responsibility and Vigilance

Your Role in a Safer Workplace

We are all part of a community, no matter how big or small. As a community member we all have a role to play in helping to keep each other safe. You are the eyes and ears for your organization, and what you notice can be the missing puzzle piece that saves lives. With the S.A.F.E. skills you learn in this training, you will feel confident with your ability to spot a potential threat. When you and your coworkers are looking for the same warning signs, we all benefit from a safer, more predictable, and less volatile workplace.

Preventing a Violent Encounter

A 2017 survey revealed that 53% of employees handle “toxic” situations by ignoring them, while only 24% confronted a difficult situation directly, and a mere 18% escalated an issue to management1

Preventing the Next Mass Attack

Active shootings are preventable if people around the shooter know what to look for and how to report warning behaviors. We all share the responsibility to detect and stop the next active shooter. After every attack, friends and family of the shooter say they wish they could have done something to stop it. We are going to teach you how.

In an active shooter situation, every second matters. The vast majority of attacks (69.8%) ended in 5 minutes or less, and over a third of attacks (36.5%) last for less than 2 minutes. You need to act, and you need to act FAST.1

Surviving a Mass Attack

Surviving an active shooting incident hinges on a comprehensive understanding of survival techniques and proactive measures. You will learn strategies to save yourself and potentially others if the worst case happens. Knowing what not to do, gaining survival skills, and leveraging your situational awareness will complete your training.
